A site for a sailing charter on the Adriatic: the fleet, routes across three regions, and calm as the main argument.

Website for a sailing yacht charter

The idea

The name carries the whole message, "Serenity, the state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled." In a sea of charter offers competing on price and cabin count, Domagoj sells something else: a calm trip with a crew that knows which bays stay quiet. The idea for the site was that the tone should register before a guest starts comparing metres and engines.

The build

I divided the routes across three Adriatic regions: the north (Dugi otok, Lošinj, Cres, Pag, Rab), the middle (Kornati, Šibenik, Murter, Zadar, Vodice) and the south (Split, Hvar, Korčula, Vis, Brač), because a guest picks the stretch of coast first and the boat second.

A fleet of around fifteen yachts from 38 to 51 feet got an overview by cabins and length, with enough detail for the decision to be made without a phone call. Video and photography carry the homepage; the rest of the site is deliberately quiet.

The result

  • Routes arranged by region rather than by boat: the guest picks the experience, not the vessel.
  • A fleet easy to scan by cabins and length, with clear differences between boats.
  • An FAQ covering the questions that otherwise eat the most time in correspondence.
  • An enquiry reachable from every page, because a charter always ends in a conversation.

If you have an idea worth doing properly, the first step is a 30 minute conversation.

No proposal and no pressure. You tell me what you're building, I ask the questions nobody has asked you yet, and by the end you know whether it's feasible, roughly what it costs and what the next step is. Whether or not we end up working together.
