Website for an accounting practice

The idea

Anđelina and her team work with entrepreneurs who are just starting out, people who have an idea but don't know where the paperwork begins. A client like that isn't looking for a list of accounting services, they're looking for someone to tell them what the next step is. The idea for the site was that accounting should stop sounding like an obligation and start sounding like support, hence the message in the hero: "Leave the papers, forms and invoices to us, and you focus on making your business idea real."

The build

I arranged the site around two different visitors: the one setting up a business entity, and the one already trading and looking for a practice. The services are broken into clear blocks: from registering a limited company, a sole trader, a family farm or a co-operative, through employee registration and payroll, to advice and dealings with the tax authority, so everyone finds their own situation quickly.

The "About us" section puts the people first, because trust is the main argument here, and client reviews back it up. I also added a blog so the team can publish explanations of regulations and deadlines themselves, without calling me every time. Contact and appointment booking are available from every page.

The result

  • One place covering the whole entrepreneur's journey, from "I'm thinking about starting a company" to routine monthly accounting.
  • Services arranged so a client recognises their own case without reading the whole page.
  • A blog the team edits on its own, so the site stays alive after handover.
  • Working online across Croatia, with coworking spaces in Zagreb, Bjelovar and Đurđevac, as the site puts it: "For us, borders don't exist."

If you have an idea worth doing properly, the first step is a 30 minute conversation.

No proposal and no pressure. You tell me what you're building, I ask the questions nobody has asked you yet, and by the end you know whether it's feasible, roughly what it costs and what the next step is. Whether or not we end up working together.
